Even though I'm in my mid-twenties, I still struggle with acne from time to time. Some days my face looks clear as could be and other days I have pimples that seemed to pop up out of nowhere. It can be so frustrating (and downright annoying) to have to deal with zits, but I've found a few solutions that work for me and I wanted to share them with you in case you suffer from acne, too. Sometimes, taking a little extra time to take care of yourself can make a big difference. You'll be amazed by what simple tasks like washing your face and drinking enough water can do for your skin. I mention a few other tips below, so read on to see how you can fight against acne and prevent problem zits.
Refrain from touching your face
When a big red pimple pops up out of nowhere, it can be so tempting to pop it. I’ve totally been there and I’ve learned from experience that it’s best to just leave your zits alone. When you touch your face, you run the risk of introducing new bacteria to your skin. This bacteria can be bad news if you have blemishes since it can cause your existing zits to worsen and for additional zits to form. If you absolutely need to touch your face, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before you do so.
Use ZAPZYT to get rid of problem zits
There are so many topical acne treatments out there that it can be overwhelming when trying to decide which one is best for you and the types of blemishes you get. I’ve tried everything from over the counter products to prescription products and somehow, I still get breakouts in my chin area. This is definitely the spot on my face where pimples seem to pop up the most. While I try to cover them up with makeup and concealer, I still get so self-conscious over them and I wish that they just weren’t there in the first place.
Staying hydrated is an essential part of being healthy. We lose water through activities like breathing and sweating, so our bodies need to be replenished with water to flush out our systems and deliver key nutrients to our organs. You should strive to drink at least 8 glasses of water each day. If you’re concerned that you’re not drinking enough water during the day, considering downloading an app for your phone that tracks your water intake or sends you notifications when it’s time to get your water fix. At the very least, make sure you drink when you’re thirsty.
Use beauty products that won’t clog your pores
Keeping the four tips above in mind, you should be on your way to kicking acne to the curb! My secret weapon is definitely using ZAPZYT, so be sure to check it out for yourself and give it a try. As mentioned, it doesn't contain alcohol, so it won't dry out your skin (I used to suffer from dry skin as a result of my prescription acne products - now that I use ZAPZYT, I don't have to worry about that anymore). You can purchase ZAPZYT at your local Walmart store or online at Walmart's website by clicking here.
