The Ultimate List of the Best Millennial Blogs

Every generation is different, but there’s just something about millennials, right? GEN Y is the largest living generation and they’re making a splash across a variety of mediums. As the first segment to truly embrace the internet, millennials are all over the latest and greatest social media platforms and it’s no surprise that so many millennials (like myself) have started their own blogs.

GEN Y has embraced everything about connecting with people online and using their platforms as a way to share everything from their favorite products to what they’ve been up to in their daily lives.

I love following along with all sorts of millennial bloggers. It’s fun to read other people’s perspective on things and also learn some new things here and there. The great thing about blogging is that you can write about anything. Travel, beauty, fashion, food…the list goes on. No matter what you’re interested in, chances are that there’s a blog out there for you.

In today’s post, I’m sharing a list of millennial blogs that I love to read. To me, these are the best millennial bloggers out there! They each bring something different to the table and share unique content with their readers.

Since I’m a millennial blogger myself, I figured that I’d add my blog to the list. Read more about my blog and the rest of the blogs I love to follow along with below:

1. MILLENNIAL ON THE MOVE

Since you clicked on this blog post, I might as well start off this list by introducing you to my blog and telling you what it’s all about. First of all, my name is Katie and I’m the Owner/Editor of Millennial on the Move. If you haven’t explored the blog yet, I write about lifestyle, travel and career topics. As a millennial myself, a lot of my content is geared toward millennials.

Ever since I can remember I’ve enjoyed writing and creating content. I decided to start my blog as an outlet to channel my energy toward while I’m not at my 9-5. I have a background in journalism and communications and I love creating great content for my readers. I'm a pretty creative person, so I love to brainstorm content ideas and write engaging blog posts. I’ve also loved learning more about photography since becoming a blogger - with every blog post that I publish, I make sure that I have great photos to accompany whatever I’m writing about. I've been working professionally in the social media field since graduating from college and I know the ins and outs of every social channel and how to optimize content for great engagement.

2. GEN Y GIRL

Kayla was one of the first millennial bloggers to hit the scene. She's been blogging for over five years and it's been great to see how she has grown along with her blog. She shares career advice and now that she's a new mom, she shows her followers the ins and outs of motherhood.

3. STREETS, BEATS AND EATS

Casey is one of the realest bloggers I know. I had the chance to meet her at an event with Toyota in Austin, TX last fall and we instantly clicked. She’s the type of person that makes you feel like you’ve been friends with her for years. Her blog focuses on life as a twenty-something in Dallas.

4. SHALEE WANDERS

Shalee is a girl that loves to travel and go on adventures. She even has cats that go hiking with her. How cool is that? She’s been all over the globe and dishes out all of her travel tips on her blog. It’s so fun to follow along with her. I know you’ll enjoy following her, too.

5. NATALIE WAS HERE

Natalie is a photographer and blogger based in Ohio. She used to work in the PR field, but decided to purse her passion of photography and blogging full time. She’s absolutely killing it so I think it’s safe to say that she made the right move!

6. THE SOPHISTICATED GAL

Kristen is such a girl boss. I love reading her blog because she’s just like me. We both work full-time and run our blogs as a “side-hustle” (something Kristen is an expert in). Her blog has monthly themes which are so fun to follow along with. If you're looking for career tips and advice on how to become a boss babe, Kristen has you covered.

7. MARVELOUS IN THE MIDWEST

Cara is such a fun person to follow. I met her on a press trip and we spent a lot of time together. It was so easy to talk to her and getting to know her was so great. We found that we have a lot in common and I’ve loved reading her blog ever since. From fashion and beauty tips to general lifestyle content, Cara covers topics for just about everyone.

8. GEN TWENTY

This is an all-around great blog for millennials spearheaded by a girl named Nicole. Covering topics like self-development, finance, health and career, this site is a perfect starting point for anyone that's wanting to learn how this whole "adulting" thing works. With multiple contributors offering different viewpoints on a variety of topics, you'll always find something new to read about on Gen Twenty.

9. THE MILLENNIAL MISS

I absolutely love Chelsea’s blog. She’s one of the most relatable bloggers that I’ve come across and I love the way she writes about topics that affect almost every millennial. Her posts are so clever and witty and they provide either a dose of inspiration, motivation or just straight up realness. I love following along with her content and watching her Instagram stories. She'll make you want to be her friend in real-life in no time.

10. THE WORLD INCORPORATED

Amanda is a full-time marketing professional by day and a travel blogger that loves to share all of her experiences around the world by night. I absolutely love her writing style and her content themes including “power trips,” “desk depart” and “free travel”. She has a knack for writing travel content and it really shows!

There you have it! I've loved following along with these bloggers and I can't wait to see how they continue to create content in the future. Be sure to check out all of these millennial bloggers when you get a bit of free time. You won’t be disappointed!
