Trying the Plant-Based Non-GMO Awesome Burger from Sweet Earth Foods

Have you ever had a plant-based burger? Up until recently, I had never had one, but I had heard so many great things about them. I knew I had to try one, so this past week I cooked up the new Awesome Burger from Sweet Earth Foods. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when cooking the burger, but the process was super easy – I just took the patty out of the package and seared it in a non-stick pan on the stove. Once it was done cooking, I placed it on my favorite brioche bun and added some ketchup, mustard and a sliced pickle.

I couldn’t wait to dig in and see how the burger would taste compared to real beef. After my first bite, I was super surprised at how juicy and flavorful the burger was. It tasted just like beef. It had smoky flavor notes which I noticed right off the bat. Even the texture was similar to beef.

My husband tried the Awesome Burger as well and he was even impressed by the burger’s taste and texture. I think we both finished our burgers in record time — they were delicious!

The nice thing about the Awesome Burger from Sweet Earth Foods is that it has 26g of Protein and 6g of fiber! I’ve been keeping up a good routine at the gym, so knowing that the Awesome Burger has lots to offer from a nutritional standpoint is definitely a bonus. After I ate my Awesome Burger, I realized that my stomach didn’t feel as heavy and full as it normally does after I eat beef burgers. The Awesome Burger definitely satisfied my appetite, but it didn’t leave me feeling sluggish.

All in all, I really enjoyed the Awesome Burger from Sweet Earth Foods and I’ll definitely be adding it to my dinner menu from time to time. I’ve been eating beef my whole life and I couldn’t even tell a difference between the Awesome Burger and a real beef patty. If you’re wanting to incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet, I highly encourage you to give the Awesome Burger a try.
