Cruising Around Michigan in the Mazda3

Cruising Around Michigan in the Mazda3

Is it just me, or is this summer flying by? It feels like Memorial Day was just yesterday, yet we’ve already celebrated the 4th of July. Every year and every season seems to pass in the blink of an eye. Speaking of seasons, summertime in Michigan is by far my favorite. There are so many cool places to go and things to see. The weather this summer has been great – 70- and 80-degree days with plenty of sunshine. Warm weather is definitely a welcome sight after the harsh, cold winters we experience in the Mitten State.

A few weeks back over the 4th of July, Mazda was kind enough to let me take their Mazda3 Sedan for a spin! I currently drive an SUV, so getting behind the wheel of a sedan was a weird feeling at first, but it was something that I got used to quickly.

How My Husband and I are Planning for Our Future Family with CCRM

How My Husband and I are Planning for Our Future Family with CCRM

How do you know when you’re ready to have a baby? From what I’ve heard, no one is really ready for parenthood. It’s just something that you fully embrace when the time is right. Seeing my friends start families of their own has been so eye-opening and it’s been great to see the way that they care for and interact with their children. My husband, Kyle, and I have talked about having kids and starting a family of our own one day. Before getting married, we discussed our plans for the future and when children might fit into the picture and we both agreed that we wanted to be married for a few years and enjoy being newlyweds before welcoming a baby.

6 Jobs That Allow You To Work Remotely and Travel More

Raise your hand if you love to travel! You obviously can’t see my hand, but it’s reaching toward the ceiling. I’ve shared on my blog time and time again that traveling is one of my favorite things to do. Travel is truly the only thing you can buy that makes you richer. There are so many things out there to do and experience.

Every year I make a list of the places that I want to travel to and then I search far and wide on the internet to determine if there are any deals for the destinations that I have in mind. If I find a decent deal, I’m definitely not opposed to booking it and turning my travel dreams into a reality.

The Best Travel Size Products to Keep in Your Carry-On Bag

The Best Travel Size Products to Keep in Your Carry-On Bag

I'm a huge fan of traveling light and packing my things in carry-on bags. Being able to bypass the airline ticket counter, bag check lines and the baggage claim area at the airport is a major plus. I also love knowing where my things are at all times and having my essentials handy in case I need anything while waiting at the airport or while on board a long flight.

Since I've become accustomed to packing my things into carry-on bags I've had the chance to test out a lot of travel size products. Before each business trip or vacation I take, I raid the travel size aisle at the store and stock up on my favorite products. I could write a whole separate post focusing on the makeup I pack when traveling, but for purposes of this post I'm going to be focusing on facial, body and hair products. All of these items are products that'll help you get through either a short or long flight. If you need to freshen up while you're on the plane, you can just reach into your bag and pull out any of these items.

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa: The Best Place for a Fall Getaway in Northern Michigan

Grand Traverse Resort and Spa: The Best Place for a Fall Getaway in Northern Michigan

Now that Thanksgiving has come and gone and the holidays are right around the corner, it’s time for me to reflect on all of the fun that I’ve had this past fall. In my opinion there’s nothing more beautiful than seeing the leaves change colors each fall in Michigan. It’s one of my favorite parts of being a Michigander. I’m so lucky to live in a state that experiences all four seasons. The Mitten State has warm summers, crisp falls, cold winters and mild springs, so there are plenty of things to look forward as each season changes.

Taking in the Fall Colors with the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC

As much as I hate saying goodbye to summer, I do look forward to watching the leaves change colors every autumn. In Michigan, we have several different shades of red, orange and yellow leaves. Some trees are more vibrant than others, but when you look at the fallen leaves on the ground or a cluster of trees next to each other, the colors are so pretty that you’d think that they were straight from a painting.
