This weekend my husband and I were invited to stay as guests at the Graduate in Ann Arbor, MI. Although we didn't go to the University of Michigan, we still root for the maize and blue, so getting an invitation to check out the hotel and spend some time in the heart of Ann Arbor was something that we couldn't pass up. My husband had visited Ann Arbor with his friends a lot while he was in college, so he was more familiar with the city when we visited than I was, which proved to be helpful as we walked around and explored. He pointed out all the hot spots that he and his friends used to visit and we discovered some new places along the way as we spent the afternoon downtown. Read on to learn more about Ann Arbor and why you need to stay at Graduate when you visit!Read More
There's something so special about the companionship of a dog, isn't there? My dog, Oakley, is definitely a part of the family. My husband and I spoil him and try our best to give him a great life. Out of all the dogs I've ever owned, Oakley is the friendliest. He absolutely loves people and other dogs and he has such a sweet and gentle demeanor.
Oakley has grown a lot since we got him as a puppy, but ever since we brought him home with us, we vowed to take good care of him and make sure he stays healthy as can be. Over the years, Oakley has managed to stay healthy and I really do think it's because of the routine we follow. From going on walks and getting some exercise to fighting against fleas and ticks with Hartz UltraGuard Pro®, we've learned what works best for our dog and how to take great care of him.
I'm so glad that my husband I were are able to give our dog a loving home, but there are several pets living in shelters that are still waiting to be placed in their forever home. In today's post, I'm going to be sharing five tips on things you can do to keep your dog healthy and I'll be highlighting an amazing initiative from Hartz Mountain Corporation that aims to help animals living with foster families or in shelters and sanctuaries. Read on for my tips and more information on the Help Us Help Them initiative!Read More
"Millennial" is such a buzz word these days, don't you think? It describes the generation born between 1982 and 2000. As a millennial myself, I see first-hand how connected this segment of people is and how they're changing the way marketers sell their products.
It's no surprise that a generation that loves to consume and share content has turned to blogging as a way to share their lives with the world. In a world dominated by social media, millennial bloggers and influencers are thriving right now.
Since you're interested in millennial bloggers, let me first introduce myself and tell you a little about my millennial-oriented blog before we jump into the list of 10 other bloggers you need to know about.Read More
Merry Christmas, everyone! Wishing you all a fantastic holiday filled with lots of love and laughter. I'm spending the day with my husband's side of the family. We'll be eating a delicious Christmas brunch (featuring my husband's delicious homemade cinnamon rolls), opening gifts and then relaxing a bit before dinner. I love this time of year because it allows me to get dressed up for so many fun occasions. From holiday parties at work to Christmas eve church service and then New Year's Eve on the 31st, there's always something to look forward to during the last few weeks of December.
As I've gotten older, I've become more selective when it comes to asking for gifts and presents. Since I'm almost always on my phone or my computer, I've definitely been converted to an online shopper. I bought more than 95% of my gifts for others this year online. It's just so convenient to browse around and find the perfect thing - whether it be a piece of clothing, a new gadget or something for your home - without ever having to step foot in a mall or department store.Read More
