Trade in your fancy place settings for paper plates because Domino's has launched their very own wedding registry. Yes, you read that right! You can now create a wedding registry strictly for pizza. WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE.
Let's be real, creating a wedding registry is stressful. With all of the items to choose from it can be overwhelming. Do you get the 300 or 400 thread count sheets? Should you get the ultra plush towels? Stainless steel or non-stick cookware? If you and your soon-to-be spouse can't agree on what gifts you'd like then you've officially got it bad. That's why the Domino's wedding registry aims to bring couples together over their shared love of pizza! And c'mon...who doesn't love pizza?
Here's how the wedding registry works:
After creating and customizing their registry, couples can choose from a variety of featured gifts to enjoy before, during and after the wedding. There are tons of cute packages that correspond with wedding-related events.
Ready to get wild and chow down on some 'za at the bachelorette party? Add "Cater the Bachelorette Party" to your registry. Need to get your pizza fix before you walk down the aisle? You might like the "One More Slice Before 'I Do'" package. And who wants to write thank you cards after returning from the honeymoon without fueling up beforehand? With "Thank You Card-a-thon" you'll have the sustenance you need to power through all the stamp sticking and envelope licking. Just don't get pizza sauce on the mail.
Packages range from $15 to $100 and gifts are delivered to the couple in the form of Domino's eGift cards.
Once registrants select their gifts, they can share their wish list with family and friends on social media or with a unique URL. Wedding guests can also search for a registry by using the names and wedding date of the soon-to-be newlyweds.
So why did Domino's even create this wedding registry in the first place? Well, they were inspired by their pizza-loving customers.
“We hear often from customers that Domino’s was a part of their big day, from proposals to after-hours meals at their wedding,” said Jenny Fouracre, Domino's spokesperson. “We wanted to make it easier for people to ask for and receive something that they’ll really use.”
Want to know what's even better? If you know a pizza-loving couple who isn't registered, you can still give them a gift! How cool is that?! PIZZA FOR ALL.
Out of all the wedding registries I've seen, this one takes the cake...err...pizza.
