Getting Ready for the New Year in PinkBlush's Navy Floral Chiffon Fitted Dress

I received item(s) mentioned in this post for review purposes. All opinions are my own.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Wishing you all a fantastic holiday filled with lots of love and laughter. I'm spending the day with my husband's side of the family. We'll be eating a delicious Christmas brunch (featuring my husband's delicious homemade cinnamon rolls), opening gifts and then relaxing a bit before dinner. I love this time of year because it allows me to get dressed up for so many fun occasions. From holiday parties at work to Christmas eve church service and then New Year's Eve on the 31st, there's always something to look forward to during the last few weeks of December.

As I've gotten older, I've become more selective when it comes to asking for gifts and presents. Since I'm almost always on my phone or my computer, I've definitely been converted to an online shopper. I bought more than 95% of my gifts for others this year online. It's just so convenient to browse around and find the perfect thing - whether it be a piece of clothing, a new gadget or something for your home - without ever having to step foot in a mall or department store.

This year, I found the cutest online store - PinkBlush. I could spend hours on this site adding things to my shopping bag. Everything from their dresses to their lounge wear is so cute. If you're looking for a place to spend your Christmas/gift money, this should be your first stop!

I've been absolutely loving my PinkBlush Navy Floral Chiffon Fitted Dress. The fit is so flattering (something that can quite rare when ordering clothing online). The wrap around belt ties in the back and accentuates the waistline perfectly. It also has a high neckline with a ruffle collar and it's made of soft chiffon material that is double lined to reduce sheerness. The dress falls just above the knee and has hints of pink, light blue and off white.

Since I'm in Florida for Christmas, I decided to style this dress with a pair of light brown sandals. These casual shoes really let the dress shine. This dress has so many pretty details from the floral print to the collar and the belt tied in the back, so I didn't feel like I needed to style it with many accessories. If I were to wear this dress to a more formal occasion like a wedding or a social event, I'd definitely pair it with a silver clutch and some matching heels.

You wouldn't know it by looking at the front of this dress, but when you turn around and check out the back, you'll see the cutest cutout detail. I love how easy it is to undo the button. I was able to reach behind my neck and unhook it myself. Some dresses are so complicated to unbutton or unzip, but not this one.

With 2018 right around the corner, I'll be doing a lot of shopping and preparing for fun events like my friend's upcoming wedding in May, graduations, vacations and more. This will be the perfect dress for me to wear to a wedding shower or while on a date with my husband. The flirty floral print is so fun and reminds me of the spring and summer months. Even though it's currently December, this dress is the perfect piece to wear in a more tropical location like Florida. Due to the high neckline and exposed shoulders, I definitely don't think I'd be able to pull this off in Michigan right now without wearing a cardigan. That's the beauty of this dress, though - it can be worn alone with a few accessories or you can pair it with a cardigan or sweater to transition it between seasons.

To wish my readers a Merry Christmas (and a Happy New Year) I'm teaming up with PinkBlush to give away a $50 gift card. All you have to do is enter via the Rafflecopter below. It's super easy and you can complete certain tasks to score more entries.
