I received products in this post for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
I still can't believe that it's almost April. 2018 is flying by and summer will be here before we know it (that's something that I'm definitely excited about). This weekend is Easter and April Fools Day - it'll be so fun to spend some extra time with family. I'll be cheering on the Michigan Wolverines as they face Loyola Chicago in the Final Four NCAA Tournament game this weekend. Go Blue!
I'm excited for today's post because I get to share a few of the brands/products that I've been loving lately with all of you. As a blogger, I have the unique opportunity to learn about and partner with all kinds of different brands. I absolutely love trying new products and finding ones that fit into my lifestyle. Being able to share the items that I love most with all of you is something that I enjoy and I hope all of you enjoy it, too!
Without further adieu, let's get into the brands/products that I've been loving this month. Read on to hear about my picks!
One of my favorite ways to express myself is to wear graphic tees and sweaters. I especially love ones with funny sayings or cute designs. ThreadTank sent me three awesome t-shirts and I've loved wearing them this winter. They're great to wear under a black cardigan or blazer. The shirts are various shades of grey and they often have charcoal or grey text. One other thing that I want to mention is that this company's customer service is top notch. If you have an issue with your order or if you need to return something, just reach out and they'll handle your issue promptly. I can't say enough good things about this company, so I hope that you'll take the time to check them out!
Clarins SOS Lavender Primer
Where has this primer been all my life?! I'm officially obsessed with Clarins SOS Lavender Primer and I can't wait to try out more items from their SOS line. If you have sallow skin that needs to be brightened up, give this primer a try. It's the perfect product to help you achieve an effortless glow. I've enjoyed incorporating this product into my daily makeup routine and I've noticed that the lavender color balances out my skin tone really well. The product also has a nice perfume-like scent - to me it smells like a mix of florals and fresh powder.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Line
This time of year my skin is dry as a bone (or so it seems). Thank goodness Neutrogena debuted their Hydro Boost line recently – it’s just what my skin needed to get some to start looking healthy again. The products from Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost line smell amazing and they’re ultra-hydrating, so they leave skin feeling soft, smooth and supple. So far, my favorite products are the hydrating exfoliating cleanser and the water gel. I’ve incorporated these products into my skincare routine and I couldn’t be happier with the results that I’m seeing. These products are definitely my new winter skincare secret.
Noughty Blondie Locks Hair Products
Since I have blonde hair, I'm always on the lookout for products that will keep my natural color looking beautiful and bright. I've never colored my hair or done anything to change its natural shade, but that doesn’t mean that I’m opposed to using products for color treated hair. Finding products that keep my blonde locks looking healthy can be difficult, but I’ve been enjoying Noughty’s Blondie Locks line. So far, I’ve tried the shampoo, conditioner, moisture treatment and anti-frizz serum. The products smell great and they leave my hair feeling silky and smooth! I've even gotten compliments from friends and coworkers saying that my hair looks more blonde. If you have blonde hair like me, you totally need to check out these products. You can find them at Ulta!
If you’re looking for a bag that’ll fit all of your necessities, look no further. The Plus 1 bag by SCOUT has got you covered. This bag is amazing because it has so much space. There’s room for all of my things including my gym clothes, water bottle, phone charger and more. The best part is that there’s a detachable inside pouch that you can use to store smaller items. This is the perfect tote bag for traveling, spending a day at the beach or running errands during the day. The pattern on my bag is called Midnight in Paris, but there are tons of other patterns to choose from on the SCOUT bags website!
Otis Spunkmeyer Grab ‘N’ Go Treats
Raise your hand if you have a major sweet tooth like I do! I’m a big fan of cookies, cake and brownies so the new Grab ‘N’ Go Treats from Otis Spunkmeyer are right up my alley. If you didn't know, Otis Spunkmeyer makes baked goods that don't contain high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors or flavors. You can find these packaged baked goods at your local convenience store, so next time you’re out and about and you’re in the mood for something sweet, reach for a Chocolate Chunk Cookie, Mini Brownies or a Loaf Cake. I'm dying to try the Mini Cupcakes next!
Pressman Toy/Goliath Games
Isn't it nice when you can just put your phone down for an hour and play a board/card game with family or friends? Ever since I was a kid, I've been a huge fan of games. Whether they're strategy games or party games, it's so fun to learn a new game and share a few laughs with the people you're playing with. As I grew up, my family played games whenever we gathered for holidays. It was always something that I looked forward to (probably because I was competitive and wanted to win). Now that I'm older, I still love playing games. Pressman Toy and Goliath Games make some of the coolest games available right now. From throwback games like Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego and Saved by the Bell Game to unique games like Your Worst Nightmare, they have something for everyone! Most all of their throwback games take me right back to my childhood and make me feel nostalgic. I played $#!T Happens this weekend with my sister and my husband and we loved it. Since we have a holiday weekend coming up and my family will be in town, I'm planning on busting out these games and playing as many as we can.
Vera Bradley Wrapping Paper Books
I love seeing how Vera Bradley continues to expand and dive into new business opportunities. This time, they're getting in on the gift-giving and wrapping paper side of things. Vera Bradley recently introduced four new wrapping paper books that are centered around different occasions. From birthdays to baby showers and wedding gifts, there's a wrapping paper design for nearly every life milestone. Here are all of the names of the books: Oh Happy Day, Birthday Bash, Baby Bump and Wedding Belles. These books are great because you can just flip through them, find the pattern you want to use and then rip it out and start wrapping! Unlike long wrapping paper tubes, these books lay flat and don't take up much room. They could be stored just about anywhere. Whoever receives a gift with a cute Vera Bradley design will definitely be impressed!
Fellowes Lotus DX Sit-Stand Workstation
Sit-stand workstations are all the rage right now and for good reason. At my day job, I sit at a desk all day and after a while, I definitely feel like I need a change of scenery. I usually just walk to the bathroom or go to get a drink in order to stretch my legs, but having a sit-stand workstation would let me continue working at my desk just by raising the height of my computer. Luckily, I've teamed up with Fellowes and they sent me a Lotus DX Sit-Stand Workstation that I set up in my home office. This product has made such a difference in the way that I work at home. It's perfect for me because after sitting at a desk all day, I can stand while typing up blog posts or posting to social media. I'm still exploring all of the features on my Lotus DX, but so far my favorite thing is the wireless charging capabilities. Being able to charge my phone without an annoying cord is a game changer.
Take it from me, this is a must have product for any home office! Spice up your work space and enter the giveaway below to win your own Lotus DX Sit-Stand Workstation! This prize is valued at $600, so be sure to enter ASAP!
