10 Millennial Bloggers You Need to Know About Right Now

Millennial Blogger

"Millennial" is such a buzz word these days, don't you think? It describes the generation born between 1982 and 2000. As a millennial myself, I see first-hand how connected this segment of people is and how they're changing the way marketers sell their products.

It's no surprise that a generation that loves to consume and share content has turned to blogging as a way to share their lives with the world. In a world dominated by social media, millennial bloggers and influencers are thriving right now.

Since you're interested in millennial bloggers, let me first introduce myself (#1 on the list below) and tell you a little about my millennial-oriented blog before we jump into the list of 9 other bloggers you need to know about.

1. Millennial on the move

I’m Katie and I’m the Owner/Editor of Millennial on the Move. In case you haven’t had a chance to browse around yet, I blog about lifestyle, travel and career topics. A lot of my content is geared toward millennials since I’m a millennial myself. Gen Y is such an interesting demographic and I love seeing the way that this generation is shaping so many different industries and challenging people’s viewpoints.

As for me, I’ve always enjoyed writing, so I decided to start my blog as an outlet to channel my energy toward while I’m not at my 9-5. I have a background in journalism and communications and I love creating great content for my readers. I'm a pretty creative person, so I love to brainstorm content ideas and use my artistic flare to write engaging blog posts and take great photos to accompany them. I've been working professionally in the social media field since graduating from college and I know the ins and outs of every social channel and how to optimize content for great engagement.

Anyway, enough about me. In today’s post, I wanted to share a list of millennial bloggers that I’ve enjoyed following along with since I started my blog. There are so many articles and blog posts out there sharing “top millennial bloggers” or the “best millennial bloggers,” but they’re all subjective, right? I can’t say that this post isn’t subjective either, but what I can tell you is that there are so many awesome millennial bloggers out there and each one is different in their own way. I love bloggers that bring their own personal flair and style to their posts and have engaging social media channels.

I’m a big fan of all of the bloggers below and I think that each of them bring something different to the table as far as content goes. They all have a unique approach to writing and their posts share interesting viewpoints on a variety of topics.

2. Gen Y Girl

Kayla was one of the first millennial bloggers to hit the scene. She's been blogging for over five years and it's been great to see how she has grown along with her blog. She shares career advice and now that she's a new mom, she shows her followers the ins and outs of motherhood.

3. A Byers Guide

I love Courtney's blog and the content she creates. She's so fashionable, so if you want to follow along with a blogger to get outfit inspiration, she's your girl. She gives an inside look at what it's like to be married to a future doctor (her blog was previously called Life of a Med School Wife) and how to pick great beauty products and wardrobe pieces.

4. Coming Up Roses

Erica is a blogging maven and she publishes great new content on her lifestyle blog nearly every day. Her personality comes through in each post she publishes. She's famous for using her favorite catch phrases and making each post fun to read. One thing I love about Erica is that she's not afraid to dish out the lessons that she's learned during her blogging journey.

5. Coffee with Summer

Summer is as real as they come. I admire and respect her so much as a blogger. Her blog is gorgeous - the theme, the photography, everything! She writes about so many great topics but her specialties are self-care, style and blogging tips. You can expect Summer to tell it like it is, which is so refreshing in the blogging space.

6. The Sophisticated Gal

Kristen is such a girl boss. I love reading her blog because she’s just like me. We both work full-time and run our blogs as a “side-hustle” (something Kristen is an expert in). Her blog has monthly themes which are so fun to follow along with. If you're looking for career tips and advice on how to become a boss babe, Kristen has you covered.

7. Diary of a Southern Millennial

Get your daily dose of organization tips, awesome recipes and travel inspiration by following along with Cameron's blog. She stays true to her Louisiana roots and shares lots of content about southern happenings and traditions (think Mardi Gras and crawfish boils).

8. Gen Twenty

This is an all-around great blog for millennials spearheaded by a girl named Nicole. Covering topics like self-development, finance, health and career, this site is a perfect starting point for anyone that's wanting to learn how this whole "adulting" thing works. With multiple contributors offering different viewpoints on a variety of topics, you'll always find something new to read about on Gen Twenty.

9. The Millennial Miss

I absolutely love Chelsea’s blog. She’s one of the most relatable bloggers that I’ve come across and I love the way she writes about topics that affect almost every millennial. Her posts are so clever and witty and they provide either a dose of inspiration, motivation or just straight up realness. I love following along with her content and watching her Instagram stories. She'll make you want to be her friend in real-life in no time.

10. Mostly Morgan

If you love lifestyle blogs then Morgan's fits the bill. She shares so much great content and has great blogging advice if you're looking to launch a blog of your own. From Instagram tips to SEO secrets, Morgan breaks down her strategies to help bloggers of all sizes grow and succeed.

There you have it! I've loved following along with these bloggers and I can't wait to see how they continue to create content in the future. Be sure to check out all of these millennial bloggers when you get a bit of free time. You won’t be disappointed!
