The holidays are approaching quickly, so I hope you’ve made your shopping list and checked it twice. If you have a furry friend in the family, don’t forget to pick out a few gifts for them, too! Pets are part of the family and deserve a little bit of extra attention and love around the holidays. If you have a dog and you’re searching for the perfect gift to get them, today’s post is for you.

1. Furbo

Ever wonder what your dog is up to during the day when you’re not home? The Furbo is the ultimate pet camera. In addition to recording your pet in real-time, the Furbo has a built-in treat launcher so you can feed your furry friend and barking alerts so you can see what’s going on at home. This device records HD video and it has two-way audio so you can hear and speak to your dog. Setting up the Furbo is super easy, too. You just plug it in, connect it to your WiFi network and then you’re ready to start using it - all it takes is just three minutes to get your Furbo in action.

2. Hartz Chew ‘N Clean Bones

If your dog loves chewing on bones, you should pick out a few Chew ‘n Clean Bones from Hartz. These bones are durable since they have a nylon shell and they promote good oral hygiene. My dog, Oakley, loves the Hartz Chew ‘n Clean Dental Duo bone because it’s a chew toy and a treat all in one. Oakley also enjoys the Hartz Chew ‘n Clean Tuff Bone. It’s made of durable nylon and polyurethane and has a multi-textured surface to withstand mild to moderate chewing.

3. Yeti Drinking Bowl / Collapsible Drinking Bowl

YETI makes the coolest tumblers, so why not splurge a little for your pet and get a YETI water bowl? The Boomer™ Dog Bowl holds eight cups of water or tasty treats and it’s built with double-wall, non-insulated stainless steel making it incredibly durable, easy to clean, and resistant to rust. The nice thing about this bowl is that it’s dishwasher safe, so you can keep it clean it quickly once your furry friend licks up the last drop of water. Another great gift idea for your pet is to get a collapsible drinking bowl. These are great to take on walks or in the car. The Dexas Popware for Pets collapsible dog bowl is a great choice since it comes in a variety of colors and has a quick-release clip that you can attach to virtually anything for easy transport.

4. Purple Pet Bed

Just like humans, dogs need to get adequate sleep. The Purple Pet Bed is the ultimate product to buy to ensure your dog sleeps restfully at night. The bed is scientifically engineered with Purple’s Smart Comfort Grid, which adapts to your dog’s body and to provide support and pressure relief. The bed is hypoallergenic and made of non-toxic materials. In addition, it has an odor-neutralizing removable, washable cover that’s antimicrobial and moisture-resistant. You can just unzip it and throw it in the washing machine to keep your pet’s bed smelling fresh.

5. Oinkies Dog Treats by Hartz

Give your dog a little extra love by rewarding them with Oinkies dog treats from Hartz. These treats are a good choice for any dog that likes to chew and enjoys a variety of flavors. From bacon and beef to chicken and pig skin, you’re sure to find a flavor that suits your furry friend. Oinkies are hand rolled from 100% real pig skin and they don’t contain any rawhide so they’re highly digestible. You can feel good giving these treats to your dog because Oinkies’ signature twisted texture helps to reduce plaque and tartar build-up while dogs gnaw away. What’s not to love?!

6. Hartz Tuff Stuff and Dura Play Toys

If your dog likes to chew, chomp or tug, the Hartz Tuff Stuff and Dura Play Toys will be right up their alley. The Hartz Tuff Stuff Fetch and Tug is a great toy to toss around in the backyard or at the park. It’s made of strong ballistic nylon and it contains a squeaky ball inside so it’ll keep your dog on his or her toes while playing. The Dura Play Bone is made of firm, natural latex which makes it ultra-durable and it’s interior uses foam technology which creates a chewier, bouncier toy. This bone has a squeaker so it’ll make your dog’s ears perk up every time you squeeze it. One of the coolest things about Dura Play toys is that they float, so you can play with this bone on land or in the water!

7. Dog Treat Jar

Make storing and giving out treats more fun with this Amici Paw Rainbow Collection Hermetic Preserving Jar! This is the perfect little canister to place on your counter top in order to keep your dog’s treats fresh. The lid on this treat jar is hand-painted and made of ceramic. The curved design shows off all of your dog’s delectable treats in a modern way. In total, this treat jar has a 44 ounce capacity and each canister has a silicone gasket which helps to create a tight seal. One thing to note is that this jar can only be hand washed, so keep that in mind before buying it!

8. Frisco Patterned Leash

Just because you’re taking your dog out for a walk doesn’t mean you can’t be fashionable while doing so. This Frisco Patterned Leash is both stylish and durable. It’s made from high-quality, polyester webbing which makes it perfect for everyday walks with your pup. The other nice thing about this leash is that it comes in a variety of lengths and widths so you can find the right fit for any size dog.

My dog, Oakley, has the large Purple Pet Bed and he absolutely loves it. He used to sleep on a bed that we got at the store on a whim. We didn’t have any specific bed in mind when we went shopping for him, so we just picked something out that was within our price range. Before he got his Purple Pet Bed, Oakley would always sneak up on the bed while my husband and I were sleeping. He wanted to sleep on our bed rather than his own because he felt that ours was more comfortable. My husband and I have a queen size bed, so I’m sure you can imagine how uncomfortable it was for us to share space with a 85+ pound Labrador Retriever like Oakley. Since getting the Purple Pet Bed, Oakley stays on his bed all night long. He doesn’t disturb my husband and I anymore and he sleeps through the night, only waking up when the sun rises in the morning.

Oakley enjoys his Purple Pet Bed so much that he now goes into our bedroom randomly throughout the day just to lay on it. It’s definitely “his spot” and it’s turned into a place for comfort and relaxation for him. Looking back, I don’t know how he (or we) got a wink of sleep without the Purple Pet Bed. It has been a great addition to our home and I feel good knowing that Oakley now has a comfortable bed that’s all his own. I feel like a proud dog mom when he wakes up every day with his tail wagging. I know it’s because he’s refreshed and recharged after sleeping on his Purple Pet Bed all night.

More about toys and treats from Hartz:

There are lots of pet brands out there, but Hartz is one of the best! Aside from toys and treats, Hartz makes products focused around grooming, flea and tick control, training, health and wellness and more. While I’m most familiar with the dog products that Hartz produces, they also have a variety of brands for cats, birds, reptiles and fish.

Oakley has tried all of the toys and treats listed in today’s gift guide and he was a big fan of everything. He has a new “favorite toy” every week, but right now he’s really enjoying the Dura Play Bone. I think his favorite part about it is that it’s lightweight and easy for him to carry around (he literally takes it from room to room in the house). He’s also a big fan of all of the different Oinkies flavors. Whenever I pull a treat out of the bag, his tail starts wagging uncontrollably. I love Hartz and all of their products because they’re high-quality and they’re affordable. I don’t know about you, but when I go to the pet store and see the price tags on some of the different dog toys and treats in the aisle my jaw drops to the floor because the products are more expensive than I’d ever be willing to pay. In my opinion, every Hartz product that I’ve come across is reasonably priced. I know that Hartz products are durable and made from quality materials or ingredients, so as a dog mom, I know that I’m giving Oakley the best of the best!
