Cozumel Travel Tips

Cozumel Travel Tips

Cozumel is one of my favorite tropical travel destinations. My family and I have been visiting the island for years and I’d consider it one of our go-to vacation spots.

If you don’t know where Cozumel is, it’s in Mexico right off the coast of Playa Del Carmen and southeast of Cancun. The island is about 250 square miles and inhabits over 100,000 people.

It's a great vacation spot because it's easy to get to, pretty affordable and tourist-friendly.

So, if you're looking for a place to spend an upcoming vacation, read on to learn more about places to stay and things to do in Cozumel, Mexico.

5 Things You Probably Shouldn't Say As An Intern

5 Things You Probably Shouldn't Say As An Intern

While I was an undergraduate, I had three different internships before transitioning into a full-time position. If you read my post last week, you know that shared all the details on How I Went From Intern to Employee in 8 Days. Now that I've been a part of the workforce for four years, I've had the opportunity to work with interns and serve as a mentor.

*Disclaimer: These are all real things that I or coworkers of mine have heard out of the mouth of real interns. I realize that these were all said in specific situations and I'm not attributing these statements to all working young adults/interns. Also, please note that the GIFs in this post are for comedic purposes. I'm really not this dramatic in real life.

Why I Love to Travel

Why I Love to Travel

One of my favorite sayings is "travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer." Based on my past travel experiences, I can definitely say that this is a true statement for me. If I have money to spend, most of the time I want to save it for upcoming travel plans.

I'm the type of person that loves looking at destinations on travel websites. If I see a place that catches me eye, I price out what it would cost for a week long stay. Getting an idea of the costs involved with traveling gets me motivated to save up so I can go to all of the beautiful places I've heard about from family and friends or destinations that I've read about online.

Today I wanted to share with you why I love to travel.

4 Tips To Help You Write Engaging Content

4 Tips To Help You Write Engaging Content

I have always had a knack for writing. Back in middle school and high school I excelled in my English classes and I never had a problem writing essays or long papers in college. Math and science are not my thing and I never cared for those subjects as much as I care about English.

Knowing that I liked writing so much, I decided to major in journalism in college. After getting my degree, I landed a job at an advertising, marketing and digital communications agency. While I worked at this job, I wrote a lot of different content. Press releases, social media copy, emails, newsletters - you name it!
