3 Things to Treat Yourself to Right Now

The holidays are over and the new year is underway, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stop indulging in your favorite things. Whether you like to light candles to turn your home into a cozy fragrance-filled oasis or buy makeup/skincare products to keep your eyes, lips and face on point, there’s nothing wrong with a spending a little money on yourself every once in a while.

With this in mind, I’m sharing three products that you should treat yourself to right now in today’s blog post. I have and use all three of the products that I’ll be mentioning below, so I can personally attest to how great they are and why you need them in your life. Read on to learn why I recommend them and where you can buy them.

The Best Black Boots for Fall and Winter

The Best Black Boots for Fall and Winter

If there’s one thing I wear from the start of fall to the end of winter, it’s boots. Living in Michigan, boots are a necessity since we have brisk falls and cold winters. While I wear sneakers and flats in the spring and summer, my fall and winter wardrobe tends to revolve around boots.

My friends at San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS) sent me their Duchess Boots and I absolutely love them. They’re perfect for fall and winter since you can dress them up or dress them down. The boots are so comfortable and they have a really simple design so they’d look great with a dress and tights or with jeans and a sweater (which is how I decided to style them for today’s blog post).

Taking in the Fall Colors with the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 SEL AWC

As much as I hate saying goodbye to summer, I do look forward to watching the leaves change colors every autumn. In Michigan, we have several different shades of red, orange and yellow leaves. Some trees are more vibrant than others, but when you look at the fallen leaves on the ground or a cluster of trees next to each other, the colors are so pretty that you’d think that they were straight from a painting.

Five No Fuss Foods To Try This Fall

I used to be a pretty picky eater, but as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself branching out and trying more new foods. I don’t like to eat the same things over and over, so having a variety of food on hand in my refrigerator and in my pantry definitely helps to mix things up and ensure that my husband and I are enjoying different meals each week for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

My friends at Babbleboxx recently sent me an assortment of no fuss foods to try out this fall. Each product in this blog post is bold, flavorful and made with ingredients that are good for you. From RAGÚ® Simply Chunky Marinara Pasta Sauce to Red Diamond Medium Roast Classic Blend Coffee, you’re bound to find something in this blog post that will delight your taste buds.

My Favorite Fall Drink Recipes + Capresso MT900 Coffee Maker and froth TEC Automatic Milk Frother Review

My Favorite Fall Drink Recipes + Capresso MT900 Coffee Maker and froth TEC Automatic Milk Frother Review

Happy National Coffee Day! As a way to celebrate, I thought it would be fitting to have a blog post dedicated to coffee today. My husband and I love to experiment with different coffee-inspired drinks and we’re always looking for opportunities to try new blends and recipes. As much as we like to sip on coffee, we’re not afraid to switch things up and add in different flavors like chocolate, vanilla, caramel or frothed milk.

My friends from Capresso sent me their MT900 coffee maker and the froth TEC Automatic Milk Frother. Both of these are must-have products for any coffee lover (the Holidays are coming up, so make sure to keep these in mind for any coffee fans on your list). From a design standpoint, they’re very sleek and modern (both the MT900 and the froth TEC have stainless steel exteriors) and they don’t take up too much counter space. I’m going to highlight the features on both of these products and then I’ll share some great drink recipes that you can make with them later on in this blog post.

The Perfect Headphones for Any Music or Entertainment Lover

The Perfect Headphones for Any Music or Entertainment Lover

Studying, traveling, commuting, working, watching a TV show or movie - theses are all times when someone might wear headphones, right? For me, I wear headphones most often when I’m traveling. If I’m going to sit on a long flight, I like to watch a movie or a TV show to help pass the time. Earlier this month, my husband and I went on a trip to Germany (full recap and travel guide coming to the blog soon). In total, we traveled for just over 16 hours round trip. For the majority of the flight we had headphones on and the entire time I kept thinking of how I needed to get headphones that were more comfortable and provided better sound quality.

Go Boston Card: The Best Way to Experience Boston

Go Boston Card: The Best Way to Experience Boston

I’ve been lucky enough to travel within the U.S. and outside of the U.S., but there are still several cities and states that I haven’t visited yet. I find inspiration on places to visit by talking to family and friends, researching online, browsing on social media and by reading about destinations in magazines and books. One of my favorite things to do each year is to create a list of cities that I want to visit. Since getting married, I’ve included in husband in this yearly ritual and we work together to figure out which destinations we want to visit together.
